Nature of the project

Bloodcoin is a private, non-commercial experiment. BCUS is not offered for sale and has no monetary value. The exchange runs in demo mode with play money only; real money cannot be deposited or withdrawn. The token on Base Sepolia is a test-network deployment. Nothing on these websites is investment advice or an offer to buy or sell anything.

Which data we process

Website and explorer: the web server processes your IP address, time, requested page and browser information to deliver the pages and to protect them against abuse. These logs are not used to identify you and are deleted after a short time.
Demo exchange account: your email address, a salted hash of your password (never the password itself), your demo balances, orders and trades, and, if you enable it, the secret for two-factor login. A login cookie keeps you signed in; it is technically necessary. There are no tracking or advertising cookies.
Security: failed login attempts are counted per IP address for 15 minutes to block password guessing.
Blockchain data: transactions on the Bloodcoin chain and on Base Sepolia are public by design and cannot be deleted.

Where the data is stored

The servers are operated by Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany (EU). DNS, email forwarding and, for the exchange, network protection are provided by Cloudflare, Inc., which may process connection data in the USA. Mortality figures come from the public CDC database and contain no personal data.

How long

Account data is kept as long as your demo account exists. Backups are deleted after 14 days.
